ASSISTANT MANAGER | LUDLOW FARMERS MARKET

Ludlow Farmers Market is hiring an Assistant Manager for the 2025 season! With over 40 weekly vendors and live music, Ludlow Farmers Market is proud to bring a wide variety of fresh, local food and unique artisans to our community. LFM runs every Sunday from May 25th through October 12th, 9am-1pm on Depot Street in Ludlow, VT.
Qualities of our ideal Assistant Manager include:

Available all or most market Sundays from 7:30am to 2pm

Strong organizational and personable skills
-
A desire to meet and mingle with fellow community members

Familiarity with smartphone-based apps and/or willingness to learn

Ability to lift 50lbs
-
Visual learner
-
Bonus: desire to contribute to social media content creation!
The Assistant Manager will work closely with the Market Manager each Sunday on the following tasks:

Processing and delivering SNAP/EBT transactions using a digital processor
-
Assisting with setup and tear down of LFM’s information booth and road signs
-
Answering common questions from customers
-
Assisting the flow of vendor traffic during load-in
-
Collecting necessary tokens or paperwork from vendors at end of day
-
Performing visual safety checks and politely enforcing market policies
This is an in-person, seasonal position ONLY on market Sundays, beginning May 25th and concluding October 12th. Compensation is $20/hour.
